In a statement today, Raila expressed concern about the president's confrontational approach, warning of serious repercussions for Kenya's constitutional democracy.
Raila accused Ruto of trying to usurp the powers of the Judiciary after gaining control of parliament. He claimed Ruto's intention was to have full control over the Judiciary, influencing its decisions and compromising its independence.
